About Our Stallion and Farm

photo

Sherman Oaks Arabians, located in Yelm, Washington, is the home of Rohara Shahquille, one of Bey Shah’s most versatile and talented sons. Being a beautiful black bay and standing almost 16 hands, he is a very powerful and masculine stallion. Shahquille came to live at Sherman Oaks in November of 2008 from Florida. His arrival was greatly anticipated and he has not disappointed us.

Due to his heavy show schedule in 2009, we have not yet bred Shahquille to any of our mares but are looking forward to the arrival of his foals in 2011. We have a limited number of mares and are being selective in our breeding program.

The first year we showed Shahquille, in 2009, he really stepped up to the plate and made us proud only having been with us for about 6 months. He has an “I’ll try anything you ask of me” attitude and he excells in Hunter Pleasure, Show Hack, Western, Dressage and he loves Native Costume.

Since Sherman Oaks Arabians is a small, family owned facility, great attention can be given to each and every horse and we look forward to the enjoyment of each show season.
